This type of decor is strongly influenced by the country style. Raw materials, wood floors, brick, paneling, wall boxes, beams and repetitive patterns come with ease. Enveloping and warm, the country in its contemporary version has pastel colors sometimes hot (straw yellow, soft pink, etc.), sometimes cold (powder blue, mint green, etc.). Creamy white and wood paneling with natural and soft tones are also very common. The influence of the seaside decor inspired by Cape Cop or the Hamptons is also very strong.
Sofas with patterned covers set the tone. Here, floral prints are mixed with stripes: two recurring themes of the countryside. Natural fibers such as linen, cotton, sisal or seagrass and antique furniture imbue the decoration with a rural spirit.
